At Newbury College, our facilities team plays a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for our students, staff and visitors. We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Facilities Administrator to join the team and help keep everything on track.
This is much more than a traditional administration role. One day you could be coordinating maintenance visits, updating asset records and processing purchase orders; the next you might be helping to support a college event, assisting with room planning or ensuring important compliance documentation is up to date.
If you enjoy being busy, take pride in being organised and love the satisfaction of helping things run efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
Working closely with the Facilities Co-ordinator and Operations Manager, you'll:
- Provide administrative support across a wide range of facilities activities.
- Maintain accurate records, trackers and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and contractor visits.
- Assist with purchasing and procurement processes.
- Support the management of college assets and equipment records.
- Help with room planning, event set-ups and facilities projects.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the College to ensure facilities-related actions are completed effectively.
What we're looking for
✔ Organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
✔ A confident communicator who enjoys working with a variety of people.
✔ Able to prioritise work and manage competing tasks.
✔ Reliable, approachable and always willing to help.
